According to reports on the Paranormal Database website there are several ghostly dogs prowling the capitol including a tailless mutt which failed to save its master from press gangers and now pops into the Anchor Tavern in SE1 from time to time, a white dog that appears in the church yard of Edmonton church and is quite friendly unless provoked and a black mastiff that lives at the Spanish Galleon pub in SE10.
