On the edge of a marsh, in the dubious region between half fluid land and almost solid water, is the thriving colony of Silvertown.

[ Thames Barrier Park lies on the north bank of the Thames in Silvertown and was opened in November 2000. Its most striking feature is The Green Dock which was created by renowned horticulturalist Alain Cousseran and Alain Provost.. As its name suggests there is a great view of the Thames Barrier from the park.     Yes very, and always strangely empty much like the park itself
