From the website of the International Bartenders Association:
BUCK’S FIZZ Long drink (flute)
10.0 cl Orange juice
5.0 cl Champagne or Dry Sparkling Wine
Pour orange juice into flute and gently pour Champagne or Dry Sparkling Wine. Stir gently. Garnish with orange twist (optional)
[ Buck’s Club can claim two notable distinctions: firstly that, until he died in October 1966, it was still owned by the man who started it in 1919, Captain Herbert Buckmaster, and secondly that it has given its name to Buck’s Fizz which was first served there in 1921.
The photograph above is of the side of Bucks, the main entrance being 18 Clifford Street whilst the entrance to the more recent ladies annex is in Old Burlington Street .R.D.]
